Pete NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!! I stumbled upon them while working in Melville and was a frequent customer at their Bethpage location, now working in Bay Shore, Hauppauge is my main branch. Everyone that I have introduced to the restaurant has nothing but great things to say. My go to is the build your own bowl. The amount of food they give you for the price point is amazing. I get two lunches out of it and sometimes have leftovers from that. I haven't tried anything from them I wouldn't get again. A++++ in my book. If you haven't tried them yet, you are missing out!
Pete, the Greek, small in appearance, but big on food, quality and taste. Limited seating most of the business is takeout, but don't let that stop you from coming and sitting down and enjoying a good meal. The restaurant has their contemporary look steel seats, wooden tables with black subway tile walls. Fast friendly service with average prices. Ample parking, so no need to worry. Ciao for Now.
Fast food atmosphere , draws a big lunch crowd. Excellent authentic food served in gigantic portions ... definitely either share or take 1/2 home , you will be FULL. Lemon chicken soup, lemon potatoes are my faves to accompany any of the spectacular gyros or enter plates . Will definitely go backs .
Ordered chicken souvlaki pita sandwich, lots of chicken not enough veggies, but overall decent. Also ordered the pork souvlaki pita sandwich, lots of meat and nice amount of veggies. Love the side dish options, Greek salad good size and dressing was yummy. Moussaka was a tad sweet for me. The portions were nice sized, and fresh. Ordered online and pick up was easy, ready on time. Service was quick. Few tables in house to eat but all taken up. Check it out def worth a visit. Won't be disappointed.
This is my 2nd time visiting Pete The Greek! I ordered the salmon Kale salad for dinner last time. The kale salad portion was generous! This time, I stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed the salmon platter! This lunch included A very nice portion of salmon, pita bread and came with a big portion of the Greek salad! If you're not a salad kind of guy... no worries, so many different sides you can order instead! Last but not least, I love their tzatziki sauce! Yum! I have yet to try their sirracha tzatziki sauce! Their Mozzerella sticks are yummy and made right! Do order the sweet potatoes fries!
